With this plot the client wanted to utilise as much of the garden as possible to enhance its south facing aspect.
The garden was divided into four linked zones which could be appreciated individually or as whole. Slate paving from the french doors takes you round the corner into a vine-covered arbour area with built-in seating, then up onto a decked dining area and down to a lawn bordered by raised beds topped off with wide planks for seating. A bespoke corner shed with cedar roof shingles was constructed and painted to match the fencing.
The whole garden was framed with new larch lap fencing painted aubergine to contrast the planting set within natural coloured posts and trellis above.
